Welcome Letter
Hello Friends and Community Members,
Welcome to the Thompson School District, where students and staff work together to improve learning skills and increase achievement at all levels. We are pleased to offer a wide range of curricular approaches and foci available in our schools; Project Lead the Way, the Loveland Area Integrated School of the Arts (LISA), Core Knowledge, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, Advanced Placement (AP) classes, health and wellness programming, math and science centers and many more.
Our district consistently meets or exceeds state scores on the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) in reading, writing, math, and science. We have award-winning Boettcher scholarship students, and our graduates attend the finest colleges and universities throughout the state and nation. Our educators are caring and well trained with meaningful, up-to-date professional development based on the latest research for students’ successes. We work hard to be careful listeners and anticipate engaging you in dialogue to meet the needs of your student. Please take a close look at our schools; better yet, come by and visit.
We look forward to partnering with you in ensuring a quality educational experience for all participants
Sincerely,
Ron Cabrera, Ph.D.
